Re: Viibryd

Just a couple inches...not bad...my dogs liked it...

Before when I would wake up at 3 it would take me a couple hours to get back to sleep and I usually get up at 6! Now I think I'm awake under an hour so I think I'm moving in the right direction. Bad arthritis pain today but probably weather related.

I wake up every night also. Least my depression is good. Does it help your moods? I see the doctor at 1pm today. I'll let you know how my appt. goes.

Re: Viibryd

It seems to be helping my energy level- no major mood uplift. I go to the Dr today also. Do not even know what I want to do because I messed up from no sleep for 2 nights in a row!

Re: Viibryd

She said, I could stay on the 30mg if I wanted to. I told her I couldn't afford two scripts. She said, she would give me samples. Or I could go back to the 40mg and take regular ambien. Or she would give a old antidepressants that used for sleep. How did your appt. turn out?

Question Re: Viibryd

With a complete shock....actually. Not sure how I feel about it. My Dr believes that because of all the ADs I have been through, that I am actually bipolar 2-NOT clinically depressed. I am not sure I agree with her. My affect is always very flat and I don't ever remember having a manic episode.

She put me on a new mood stabilizer that has been really helping people, Saphris. I did actually sleep last night and actuallly all morning too- I just woke up. I had the feeling I could have slept all day if I didn't make myself get up. Probably a combination of the medication and how exhausted I was but I can't do this often!
I guess I just have to give it some time...I read that the dowsiness passes.

Re: Viibryd

I never heard of that med. . Do you take it along with the viibryd? I hope the new med. works for you. I'm like you I couldn't sleep long on count of my work schedule. Stay in touch let me know how you're doing.

Re: Viibryd

It is a new med. It's been out about 2 years. I'm still reeling from the diagnosis.

Re: Viibryd

will you stay on the viibryd aslo? Yes, it's hard to crab on the news the doctor gave you. I guess take it for a couple of weeks to see how you feel.

Re: Viibryd

Bad night last night. Seems like I get good rest EVERY OTHER night. Don't know if it's still residual Viibryd in my system or the new med. Just bumped up the dosage last night. Planned it for a day off...Weird dreams, little sleep and quite dizzy this am.

So is the ambien helping you sleep?

On another note...My legs seem better on this new med... Pain issues in general do....some of my negative thought monalogue (sp?) seems to be muted.

Yes, the ambien helps alot. I only take a half of the tablet. I can aslo take a whole if needed. Let me know how it goes for the new med. .

Re: Viibryd

Still struggling.. I think the mood stabilizer is good n some ways but I'm thinking I need an AD too maybe...feeling much more up and down than I usually do.

Happy Thanksgiving Viibryd buddies!

Re: Viibryd

Dr. again a week from today. Sleep fair. Some weird dreams, some way too early wake-ups.
