Question Need help - What can be added to Paxil other than Abilify?
Hi, I have been on Paxil 40Mg for years..I have a lot going on in my life and need a little more help. My doctor put me on abilify which helped, but I have no insurance and that medicine is expensive. Is there anything that will help boost the Paxil? My doctor didn't want to try anything else without sending me to a physiatrist and I can not afford to go.

I don't know if this will help or not, but I was on Celexa and a doctor added amitriptyline for a while there. I stopped taking it though, because I got really bad headaches at night. Why not try a different antidepressant if Paxil isn't cutting it anymore? There are quite a few on Walmart's $4 prescription list.

See if Wllbutrin fits your budget. I have no idea what it cost. I have been on Paxil with a kicker of Wellbutrin. I am weaning off the Paxil as I have Serotonin Syndrome.
