Just like you can give a shot virtually anywhere, you can infuse just about anywhere. There are some things to keep in mind. Where to infuse depends on your tubing length as making your tubing too taut can cause it to dislodge. You also have to look at how much you move the area. Putting it on your thigh can cause it to dislodge as you are moving it more. That being said, I used my thighs, abdomen, and hips for infusion. The more things rub on the area, the better the chance for pump bumps. The closer to the abdomen you go the better and faster the absorption. Also, be sure to take insulin and syringes JIC. Nothing is worse than depending on your pump and something happening while you don't have backup supplies.
