Harmones plays a big part in acne. I had acne for years and thought when I was in my 30's I would not have it but I did, just a little different. My daughters still have problems with their faces breaking out a certain time of the month and they range from 38-42 years of age. Some of us just seem to have an oily skin with pores that clog easy. Heavy makeup is a no-no, skin needs to dry out and breathe.
