Post Does Glucoasmine/Chondroitin raise blood sugar?

Has anyone else's blood sugar gone up from taking Glucosamine & Chondroitin? My husband is diabetic and takes Glucophage, but he also started taking G/C. a few days ago and his sugar has been higher. Has this happened to anyone else. It could be a coincidence, but he's going to stop taking the Glucosamine/Chondroitin for a few days and see if his sugar goes down again.

Yes, I was taking glucosamine/condrontrin and had to quit due to my BS elevating. I control via diet/exercise only, no meds.

I had the same problem two months ago. The problem is with "Glucosamine" not Chondroitin. Glucosamine is an amino sugar. Now I'm taking just 1200 mg of Chondroitin Sulfate.
