Hello BigBo... Based on the circumstances I wouldn't be too concerning about a 150 bg(blood glucose) reading. The sweetened tea and pringles probably gave you a good dose of carbs. Reliable tests can be done, if you, and your doctor, are truely concerned about a diabetes problem.
You said your bloodwork concerning a thyroid problem came back normal. What were the results? What was your TSH, your T4, and T3? If you don't know, then call your doctor and ask for a printout of the results. It's a simple thing for them. They can leave a printout at the front desk and you can pick it up. Or maybe ask them to fax it to you. Anyway, when you mention anxiety, if your thyroid was at fault you would be talking about HYPERthyroidism, possibly Graves Disease. Many years ago, many women were put thought to be insane, but they were only suffering from Graves.
Enough for now, I'm typing more than I had planned. Let us know your results on the Thyroid and keep working your doctor to chase down any possible problem. I'm sure there are many other causes of anxiety. God Bless. Woodrunner. |
