Question a little matter of concearn, PLEASE READ.

HI, i need to ask soem Qestions about the whole hypoglycemic thing.. i have just moved in with my boyfriend and his parents and him and his dad have both asked me on seperate occasions if i am hypoglycemic. to the best of my knowledge i am not, but both now firmly beleive so.
i eat a lot of sugary foods, i admit it.. i have a severe sweet tooth!! but i also eat health too, i drink a lot of Ribena as i like it but i know it has loads of sugar in it. we ran out of it and i was not drinking any thign sugary for 2 days, i noticabally got verrrrry cranky and short rtempered, though not meanign to. but when i do have soemthign knowlingly or not that has cdertain food aditives in and sugar i go nutss and crawl the walls. this will last about half an hour to an hour, depending on the situation, i can sometimes control my behaviour bhut most of the time i just get excessivly hyper and talk fast, get the giggles big time, and find prettyu much any thign funny, no concentration span, get the shakes , cant keep still, HATE the scilence and have to be dogin something. then when i calm down i am flaked .. i will often nap cause i am so tired fro being up as high as a kite, then when i wake up i have a stonking head ache and often just out of it or as i call it "been abducted by the faires!" this will often mean that i will have no idea wheree i am, what day it is, or time, and apparently i have even asked to my bf face.. who are you? which may i add he was not to impressd at! i have been tested time and tiem again for any trace of dibetes, and as it came badck the first tiem... no.. so did al the others. i find that if i stand up too quickly i will black out, and sometime fall to the ground, other time i can catch my self b4 i fall if that fakes sense, again had blood taken this week(again) to test for aneima (how ever you spell that) but i get another kind of dizzy kindo fhting, i may be walking along and all of a sudden get a surge or somethign in my abdoman region, like bmy stomach flipping or being really excited, but its only lasta few seconds, i will then breath in really suddenly (unintentionally) and my knees will give out andi will fall, or soemtime only one knee and i will just severly stubble, then i have a really REALLY painful headache in my left temple, these may happen up to 20 timesa a day, seldom atcually falling over, just lockign up and tripping, but then there will be days where nothing. this is also soem tiems accomplined (but only ver recently) by my chest gettign very very tight so much so that it affects my breathing, and then random stabing pains in my chest ont he left hand side of my sternum. if ANY one has any idea wha on earth may be going on i would greatly appreciate it, and if i have to see a doctor .. how do io bting it up with out her/him thinking i have completl;y lost the plot and i am not makign it up, which is what i swear most of them think. please please please give me any advice you can.. i am at my wits end.
Thanks
Georgina

Honey I know you have to be scared at this point, but all the symptoms you describe could be anything, Please go to a Doctor and calmly describe some of the stuff you are going through, he,s there to help not to think you are crazy. You can,t live alone with this worry, it,s probably making you feel worse. Good Luck. let us know how you,re doing.

my recommendation would be that you get a complete blood test for blood sugars, TSH, etc etc etc. Tell your doctor you don't want to rule anything out.

You might want to visit a neurologist and a cardiologist ... the standing up & fainting spells are called Orthostatic Hypotension and is treatable in most of the cases. Some of the symptoms you describe fit perfectly in to neurocardiogenic syncope (pre-syncope in your case) but as others stated, they could be anything !!! What ever you do, get yourself checked by both the neuro & cardio doctors.
