Just because a person is thin does not necessarily mean they are diabetic. Some people just have body types called "ectomorphic", which is long and lean.
Symptoms of diabetes would be: sudden weight loss, increased thirst, frequent urination of new onset, extreme fatigue, blurred vision.
If you don't have any of those symptoms but are just thin and have always been thin, then there's probably nothing to worry about.
If, on the other hand, you've been losing weight recently and have any of those other symptoms, you should get yourself to a doctor as soon as possible because uncontrolled diabetes can result in an immediate medical emergency in addition to the long-term damage it does to the body.
