Hi, I have a question concerning my 3 hour glucose test I took on Friday. I am 35 years old, and have had gestational diabetes, insulin controlled, 3 years ago. I don't have a doctors appointment for another 2 weeks. I asked for the blood results though and here are my numbers......
I have had some severe problems with my feet and walking, I am currently seeing a neurologists, who is looking at MS, but wanted to make sure there is not something else going on as well. So does anyone know if these numbers mean anything negative? Or since my 2 hour is at 102 I am just fine as far as diabetes go?
Thanks so much!!
Donna
Thanks tfkeel,
I read the article. I will visit with my doctor in a couple of weeks. What I think that I understand from all of this, is even though 3 of the readings are high, (including the 111 which is just a leg up) since the 2 hour one is fine, everything okey***ie. Also, my blood sugar dropped quickly during the last hour. I do have hypoglycemia and I know that it had to have went lower than 70, because right after they drew blood, my lips were tingly and the world was spinning. Other things were going on as well, just like when I have my spells. So I did not know if the 70 was a normal reading, and if I should mention to my doctor I was having a spell, or with him just seeing it at 70 he will know already. Do you know what is the lowest it should get for norm? Or is that for another board?
