Okay, I've noticed something very strange in the past couple of years and I was just wondering if anyone else knows what I'm talking about. My theory: Your emotions have a giant effect on your blood sugar levels. So, my dad is a diabetic and the strangest thing happens to him. When he's mad, his blood sugar drops dramatically. It gets low and he has to eat something. It's really weird actually, every single time too. If my parents get into a fight, five minutes later my dad is drinking some juice. I've noticed it in my too. Not the same thing of course, because I'm rarely angry. But when I'm really happy, my blood sugars are always great.

Ah but true, there are a great many factors regarding blood sugar levels. Although a great spike or somewhat low is not the determining factor to decent health. With those that are very emotional, this is common. Check the A1C with doctor's blood work.

Oh, and sure, try not to be too emotional.

There are many things that can affect your blood sugar and emotions are just a part of it. Exercise, ambient temperature, and all sorts of other things can have an effect on your gucose levels.
