I am a male, 49 and suffering from some fatigue problems lately and my doctor ordered me to do a 3 hour Glucose tolerance test.
The results were:
Fasting - Glucose: 99 mg/dl Insulin: 7 uiu/ml time: 12:18
Glucola started at 12:53 / Glucola finished at 12:15
at 1:59 > Glucose: 102 Insulin: 62
at 2:55 > Glucose: 98 Insulin: 14
at 3:55 > Glucose: 79 Insulin: 3
My doctor says it doesn't make sense since the Glucose does not go up at all. I did the test twice and the secons time, my glucose even went down to 70 after the first hour and up to 98 after the 2nd hour and down to 83 after the third hour.
Someone told me I might have Hypoglycemia.
Does anyone out there recognize this? Any help is appreciated.
