Any tips on giving yourself the Byetta shots - I've never done anything like this before and don't have a clue as to where to inject. I think you are suppose to change areas daily?

Hello, I'm also new to Byetta and my doc's nurse showed me how to do it. The best place I found to be is in my stomach just take a pinch and stick the needle in. You can also do your upper part of your legs preferrably on the outer side. The box should come with the pamphlet that shows you where to give the shots and how to prep the pen before you use it for the first time. Good luck.

Hi, I used to take byetta, I used my lower stomach for injection sites because from what i understand we tend to have less nerves in our lower stomach area, not sure how true that is but that's how i did it, also i noticed that if I did it where i had stretch marks, like on the sm, it didn' hurt at all.

Thanks - I'll give that a try. I have found that the needle is so small so far it's been painless.
