Diabetes question

My morning BS is usually 120 to 125, but daytime testing, after eating is usually in the 90's to low 100's. The morning test would indicate diabetes, but the daytime levels seem OK. I do have hashimotos and am on thyroid meds. With morning blood sugar in the 120's and daytime levels being OK, would I be considered diabetic?

Re: Diabetes question

You may be pre-diabetic, (pre-diabetes fasting numbers are 100-125, with diabetic being 126 and over) which means you are on diabetes doorstep so to speak. The only way to know for sure is to have your doc do a glucose tolerance test on you. You really should as if you catch this early enough, you may be able to stop it from developing into full blown diabetes for years.
Good luck!
