What does this mean ? Breakfast at McDonald's

I had a McDonald's breakfast of 3 pancakes and sausage, used one of there syrups, and had a glass of skim milk. I was up early this morning so after eating I took a nap. Two hours later I testd my BG and it was 200. I'm assuming this is not good ???

I have not been diagnosed with diabetes but know I'm at risk. My sister gave me a monitor so I could start checking. Well, I have just decided to take this serious (Should have a long time ago !) Now I'm sad and scared.

I am on meds for Graves/Hyperthroidism (under control due to a great Endo) and HBP (which is also under control)

So what's the verdict of the 200 reading two hours after eating breakfast from McDonalds ???

Thanks,
RW

200 is definitely high. Best to schedule an appointment with an endocrinolgist and get a glucose tolerance test (and an Hemoglobin A1C) to confirm the diagnosis.
