Question Dizziness?

If dizziness is a result of diabetes, would lying down make it go away? Also does moving ones head side to side make it worse if it's related to diabetes?

Re: Dizziness?

Dizziness can happen during a hypoglycemic episode, and probably with a very high sugar as well, but not under just "normal" circumstances. Also, moving your head side to side has nothing to do with a diabetic dizziness episode. Perhaps allergies or sinus?

Re: Dizziness?

What about an inner ear infection? I had one a couple years ago and it was awful. Started out as dizzy but closing eyes and moving my head around was so disorienting. It got to where everything was like an out of body experience. Antibiotics sometimes help but for sure they can give you some meds for the dizziness. It took a while for mine to pass. So if your blood sugar is in line you might check out the inner ear thing and vertigo.

Re: Dizziness?

I'm beginning to think it's an inner ear issue. I now have a mild case of tinnitus (ringing in the ears, but louder in the right ear).
