Type 2 Diabetic. My sugar tablet pass strtaight through me.
I am a type 2 diabetic and have been on what I refer to as, "sugar tablets” for a year or so. The first lot gave me diarrhoea so I changed them. The next lot made me constipated so they were changed. After a few days on the new ones I found that I had to go to toilet again after my normal movement and I found one of my sugar tablets had gone straight through me.

Can anyone offer an explanation?

I can offer a possible explanation.... although I could probably offer a real one if I knew the name of the drug.

Some drugs are "timed-release" and the tablets are engineered to not fully dissolve in the body, but have a "web" which holds the drug captive for slow release in the intestines and stomach. The remnant of the pill, which has no active ingredients remaining in it, passes out in the draught.
