Foot Pain

I am type 2 with bg averages 95 to 110 fasting, 140 to 200 2 hours after meals. Last 4 A1c have been between 5.2 and 5.6? My major problem is my feet. I have neuropathy in both. Burning pain and numbness. I take 100mg Lyrica 4 times a day, which reduces the pain by maybe 30%. I go barefooted around the house and wear sandles, no socks when working out in yard. I develope these cracks across the bottoms of my big toes which appear to be just dry skin cracks but must go much deeper. They cause so much pain it's as if I had jabbed a nail right to the bone. Pain will last 4 or 5 days. I use callus cream as well as crack cream but they are not much help.
Has anyone ever experienced this with their feet. I take good care of my feet yet these cracks happen about once a month.
Lyrica helps but the only thing that seems to do the job on the neuropathy pain is Oxycodone IR 10mg twice a day.
