| Re: Blood Sugar 105 one hour after eating...okay?
No, it's not strange....and yes, it does make a difference... Pizza might have some fatty stuff, like pepperoni or sausage, and usually has mozzarella, a fatty cheese topping. Fat causes sugar metabolism to slow down.... if you eat something fatty, the sugar output comes later in time than if you eat a corresponding amount of low-fat carbohydrate. So your one-hour reading is on the "upswing" and, with pizza, I'll bet it's still high (or maybe higher than) 140 at three hours.
And, I read your first post to say that you felt the symptoms before you ate.
Perhaps, on second read, I didn't interpret right. If you felt the symptoms when you read 105, itotito is correct....the symptoms don't correlate.
