| What is normal range for A1C and could this be diabetes?
My A1C is usually around 6.2, so my doctor said that I don't need to be on any kind of meds right now. However, he said in a few years, I will probably have to be put on some. I've been having a lot of strange symptoms and noone can diagnose them. I have these really bad squeezing headaches with lightheadedness and just strange feelings. Also, my eyes hurt really bad with a lot of pressure behind them. When I eat something, it gets somewhat better for a little while, but then it gets back to the same. I have taken my blood sugar after these episodes, but it's always in normal range. I have been to many many specialists and had many tests done and tried many meds, but nothing works. Could this be diabetes after all, or a blood sugar problem? I was gestational diabetic in 1999-2000 and was taking 3 shots of insulin daily. This was found at 8 weeks gestation which is very early they say. Right after I had my daughter, I was taken off of insulin. A few weeks later, all of these bad headaches started and other symptoms. But like I said noone is saying diabetes, so it's probably not, but I'm just wondering. Thanks
