it is hard to make "plans" for someone with labile blood sugar problems. An endocrinologist is your best bet, for sure. This can have to do with hormonal problems, thyroid, adrenal insufficiency, he may need a gastroenterologist if delayed stomach emptying is a factor in his disease.
