Eating lean meat, green vegetables plus exercise will bring the BS down.
If overweight, lose weight.
I did the following:
Breakfast......2 tablespoons oatmeal/oat bran mixture cooked in water.
Lunch......3 oz. lean meat, 1/2 cup green veggie plus another 1/2 cup of a green veggie.
Dinner......same as for lunch.
Walked treadmill 2-3 miles each day.
Used an "invisible zipper in closed position over mouth" when in presence of food other than sitting to eat a meal.
I complained to my diabetes specialist about eating meat and only green veggies and he said "what's wrong with that"? Apparently he thought that was just fine.
I lost 65 lbs on the above diet.
The above worked beautifully, however, for various reasons I gained a lot of the weight back and for some reason just cannot quite get that "invisible zipper" in a closed position again!!
