Above 125 mg/dl after an overnight fast is still in the diabetic range.
You may want to continue ramping up exercise (keep increasing the distance and/or speed of your walking, or work up to higher intensity exercise). Also, if you have any excess body fat (typically if your waistline at navel level is more than half your height), try to lose it.
Although not everyone will be able to completely control blood sugar levels with increased exercise and loss of excess body fat, doing so may allow using less drugs if it becomes necessary to use drugs.
