My husband is 32 and for about 3 weeks now his hands have been falling asleep at night, also swelling. First it was just his left hand and he is a mechanic so he is using tools alot that could cause carpal tunnel. Since it was just one hand we was kinda leaning on that. Now its more both hands falling asleep. Currently we do not have insurance, it actually kicks in January 2011, so he can go to the doctor then! Once he gets up and moving around he doesn't have this problem. Although, he is also a tattoo artist and sometimes runs into tingling when using his tattoo gun. Upon reading I have read this could be a sign of diabetes and I have checked his sugar only once, it was 155 which is kind of high, it was right after lunch and some skittles.
Any ones opinion on this would be grateful!
