Re: blood sugar over 300
delores65, I agree with JSY1221. I used to have blood sugar readings constantly above 160 and also high, unhealthy Cholesterol and Triglycerides readings, and really felt poorly with constant breathing problems, weakness, swelling, nerve problems, etc.
I went on a very healthy, small meal, low calorie, low Glycemic, frequent eating diet and, almost immediately, I experienced improvements to my health and blood sugar. I also started a demanding daily exercise program, for which I am doing an average of 300 steppers, 200 weight curls, 150 weight lifts, 75 back lifts, 1 hour power walk and 50 pushups per day.
Over a long period of time I continued to improve and, near age 70, I feel better than I did 30 years ago. So..... Diet and Exercise does work, at least it does for me!
