Re: worse numbers on Metformin

How much worse and how long have you been on Metformin..what doseage? Along with the meds. you also need to be eating low carb and low glycemic foods and trying to exercise.

Re: worse numbers on Metformin

on 500 mgs for about a month...still running around 200 2 hours after eating..which is a little worse...haven't been good on eating but haven't done anything worse so shouldn't it keep me at least the same?

Re: worse numbers on Metformin

That's the doseage I'm on but still had to change my diet and it still took about 2 months for it to kick in. 500 is a very small dose, so if your still running 200 you may need a larger doseage. Mine never ran 200 so maybe that is why it worked faster on me????

Good luck..JJ...
