First Time Using Insulin

Is it normal to feel faint and shaky-anxious after using insulin for the first time? This is regarding my son whose Dr left the responsibility to someone else to administer.

Any injection, if accompanied by stress, can make someone feel shakey, light headed, all sorts of nasty things. It will get better and become second nature. Don't worry.

Legally I can't discuss this with the Dr. That is why I joined the message board.
