Beano

I read that Beano has a high glycemic index?

Anyone could perhaps confirm for me by how much your Glycemic Load is raised when you take one or two Beano tablets?

Thanks!!

(Beano is for gas. It contains the enzyme alpha galactosidase that breaks down oligosaccharides such as raffinose and helps with bloating that occurs when I eat beans, broccoli, cauliflower etc. (I have IBS.))

Re: Beano

The only way to know for sure is to test and see if it affects you. A couple of tablets shouldn't contain enough carb to affect you too much though.
