Oral Meds, Take Before or After Meals?
Do you take your oral diabetic medications before or after your meals?

I've always taken mine (metformin and glyburide) after, but I'm wondering if I should take them before?

I was told to take my 500 mgs. of Metformin with my largest meal, so I take it just before I sit down to dinner. Hubby takes his about a half hr. before dinner. He was also told he could take his 2 hrs. after a meal as well. I like taking it before as if not..it upsets my stomach.
