liver and glucose dumping
I am using metformin Xr,problem is my liver dumping some glucose on and off
is that a good sign.

It isn't good or bad, it is just normal. It happens most often in the early hours of the morning to get you ready for the day and is called the dawn phenomenon. If your sugars are out of range, there are ways to deal with it.

How do you know your liver is dumping glucose? Are you going very high without any reason (i.e., not eating too much, several hours after a meal, AM before breakfast?)

One other reason for the liver dumping glucose is in response to a very low blood sugar.

The best way to stop it is to figure out why it's happening.
