Smile balance

Hello i have been taking insulin for 40 years, do anyone know if your balance can be affected please.

Yes, it can affect your balance. One of the things that can happen is that you lose the vibration sense in your feet (do you have peripheral neuropathy?). This sense is important in keeping you balanced. To help with neuropathy, tight glucose control is important and you can also try the dpn (diabetic peripheral neuropathy cocktail) which is made up of ALA (alpha lipoic acid) GLA (gamma linolenic acid) and vitamin C. All of these are available over the counter.
