Re: Type II Diabetes

I have not looked into natural stuff for diabetes, but it will not cure it, but I am sure like anything else mother nature can help with, help control the diabetes. But keep it monitored by a doctor, diabetes has many complications that can happen without care of oneself. As for the diet, vagan is a good thing, making sure you are getting the nutrician that you need everyday, and be sure to exercise everyday, even if it is walking. I try to do that almost everyday. And be good to yourself. And come to the boards and talk with us, ask questions or give us advice on what you discover. Hugs for today.

Re: Type II Diabetes

Welcome...Sounds like your doing all the right things and your feeling better. Kudos for the weight loss that is wonderful!
Walking is wonderful for weight and blood sugars. I wish I could go vegan but I do like my meat now and then.
There are no cures other then then dropping weight if you need to and watching your diet which becomes a way of life to eat. The choices we make are up to us and the meter tells us how were doing. Read back on some of the posts here and you will get much information.I am not that upon vegan diets so not sure what to tell you. If your sugars are good then your doing great. If they aren't then maybe tell us what your eating at meals and snacks and we can help.
