Going crazy over these readings!!!!!

I have not been diagnosed with anything as of yet. I am 49 yrs old, heathly weight though I could lose a few pounds, but I am not heavy. My father had age-onset II and died at 81. Since he was diabetic, I have started to monitor my blood sugar and have to admit, I have become a little obsessive about it to the point that it stresses me out.
My numbers have been all over the place lately. I will go two or three days were it's completely normal: 85 - 99 fasting and other days where it's elevated. Yesterday I was 99 fasting, 95 2 hours after lunch and then had a very stressful afternoon and this morning I was 115! I ate two eggs for breakfast and tested at two hours and was at 116! Why is it going up? Now I have been worried about it all morning but I thought for sure it would go down. I had nothing "carby" for breakfast, just the eggs and some green tea with no sugar. Am I just worrying myself sick for no reason? I have been to the doctor and fasting at the lab was 101 (again,,I stressed) and he didn't seem the least bit concerned. HELP!

No 2 tests/days are ever the same, even for a non-d. The 115 is fine so don't worry and don't stress. It is possible that due to the absence of carbs, your liver released some glucose.

Thank you Cora. You talked me off the ledge this morning. I almost had a full-blown anxiety attack over this. I just don't understand all of this yet, and my doctor isn't concerned to the point where he feels I need to be concerned.
