How bad is your diabetes? What are your BG numbers? I have had type 2 diabetes since 2001 and for the first time since then I have mine under control. For breakfast I eat 2 hard boiled eggs,2 banannas,and or apples,and a granola bar. Lunch,tuna or turkey sandwich on wheat bread,a vegatable,more fruit,and a granola bar.Supper,chicken breast or fish,vegatables,more fruit and a fiber bar.For snacks during meals I usually eat raisins,peanut butter,or a granola bar.And I ONLY drink water.Having type 2 diabetes is not the end of the world;you just have to make better eating decisions and stick to them.Exercise is important too.
The anticipation of death is worse than death itself!
You eat normal food, with the calories and fat and sugar ladden foods. And portion control all day. You may want to consult with a diabets educator to help you learn what is good and what is bad for diabetes. Good luck and hugs for today.
