I have just been told I have type 2 diabeties, no medication, but am not sure what to do as we go on holidays on Sunday and cannot see the dietician until I get back.
What can I eat while away ? eg. could I have bacon and egg breakfast, can I have the odd ice cream or things like potatoes ? I am really at a loss and could do with some advice

You can go ahead and enjoy your vacation. Avoid as much as possible most white food such as white bread, baked potatoes and etc. My wife now only buys whole wheat bread, whole wheat pastas and whole wheat dipping-chips to name a few.
