Re: Need help understanding today's numbers

I've never even had numbers above 140 after meals. What could have caused the 223 spike? Could it be the statin?

Re: Need help understanding today's numbers

I get spikes of 168 after meals, one hour. My doctor says its ok, as long as it is down in two hours. On Onglyza, forgot to take it one night, woke up with 175, took Onglyza, it was down to 112 in 1 hour, 45 minutes. Onglyza gives me headaches though, and DOES have a laxative effect. I was diagnosed 1 & years ago, 5'1", 112 lbs. Not a weight thing, my mother was SERIOUS Type I. She needed insulin when she weighed 80 lbs. (4'11")

My usual morning is 106-112, I eat more at night because when I first started Onglyza, I'd wake up sweating, and at 84-88. When I am over 150 I race walk a few blocks, eat cinnamon, and am usually down 25-30 within an hour.
