Thanks for the input. I've read on another diabetes forum that the Venowave has been doing them wonders on the leg ulcer front. I think I'll be getting one soon. I just have to talk to my doctor first but I'm sure he won't hesitate to sign an Rx for it.

So how long have you been using it? Do you often change batteries?

It takes one AA battery and it's worth the effort to get a rechargable because it only lasts overnight or so. They do send you 2 batteries so the batteries are included. I've been using it off and on (not reliable with it due to other issues) since July and my leg has decreased in size.

Ok thanks for providing a first hand account experience with the Venowave. I think I'm really inclined to buy. It might be a huge gamble but with a diabetic wound that appears to be getting wider, I think it is worth the gamble. I'm aware that you are using it on a different condition but other diabetic forums have been talking about it more on the positive side.
