Hi I have not been on in awhile but i do read a lot. Well I am a type 2 diagnosed in 2003 put on insulin right away i am also insulin resistant anyway my numbers are very bad no matter what i do last a1c's were 10.6 & 10.9 I am currently on 60 units of levemir at night and 5-7 units of Novolog at evening meal went to the Dr today and she wants me to try 100mg of Januvia daily to see what it does.Has anyone ever tried 3 meds like this and has it helped it kinda scares me but i need a total knee replacment surgery and my sugars are just to high and Dr will not do it until a1c is about 8. Any ideas or thoughts would be wonderful.
