My HMO, in order to be ready to switch over to the ACA [Obamacare] is rapidly switching all my scripts to lesser-known generics, and other brands or name of non-generic.
Today, I was informed that I would no longer be supplied with Novolog. In its place, I will be given Humolog.
Can anyone tell me if they used Novolog and switched to Humolog, and if there were any problems in the change? I've been on Novovlog since 1996, and always freak out with changes in meds.
Anything you can share will be greatly appreciated.
