Depends on what plan you are doing. 80g of carbs a day is actually very low (considering the average person consumes over 500g of carbs per day), but if you are doing something dramatic like Atkins, yes... it is alot. I follow a food combining program which is low carb, but fruit is allowed... you just have to have it on an empty stomach... that is when I have my grafefruit juice... fruit is one of the healthiest places to get your carbs from, so I don't mind... good luck
