Last night, my freezer door came open and everything defrosted! This has happened once before, but ice had built up in the back so that's what caused it to open then. I took everything out and unplugged it to defrost it at the time - problem solved. Now, I don't know what's wrong with it. I don't have the receipt for it or anything. It's a couple years old. So, even if the food is still cold, is it still bad? I know stuff like chicken is not supposed to be refrozen. What about stuff that has already been cooked thoroughly? I just don't want to have to get rid of everything! How depressing.

Has anybody else had this happen before? I have it taped shut now. I'm thinking of calling the place where I bought it and complaining to them...
