Paleolithic Diet

Hello from Australia to all the Paleolithics on this board!

There is a lot of discussion on the acne forum on these boards right now regarding the Paleolithic diet, but solely in terms of its ability to eliminate acne. Has anyone experienced any other benefits of the Paleolithic diet other than eliminating acne? If so, I would love to hear from you! I guess I'm trying to find further reasons to solidify my resolve to maintain this diet which I've only recently started this week (and maintained 99.5% so far). I need to tell myself why I'm maintaining it when temptation hits other than for acne reasons, cos I have almost zero acne even on the worst diet, but I'm nevertheless very earnest about healthy living.

Thanks a heap,
AA

Re: Paleolithic Diet

Personally, the following things improved for me when I started on the Paleolithic diet:

-cure of acne
-cure of sore knees
-depression
-need less sleep
-weight loss
-more energy (no mid afternoon slump)
-never get colds or flus!

It is truly amazing...I am going to continue on this diet for the rest of my life. I've been eating this way for the past 8 months and it works so well.

Re: Paleolithic Diet

eggs and sausages is often what I will eat, or a bit of fruit and nuts. Pretty simple and easy. Sometimes I just eat leftovers from the night before, like a stirfry or something.
