Cat Food??? - Diet & Nutrition Message Board

Okay, I know I am weird. For some reason I like the way my cats food tastes. Not the wet smelly stuff, but the dry food. It tastes like Gordettos or something. Just tastes like some kind of chips. Anyways, I dont eat a lot or anything, but right now for example, I am STARVING, and there isnt anything in the pantry. If I knew cat food was ok for me, I'd be eating that like they were chips or chex mix or something. Could it have any harmful effects at all? Im sure Im not the only one who likes it!

Well if you like to eat all of the parts of animals that are not meant for human consumption (like the carcasses, animals that are diseased,etc,ect.), and if you like fillers, and all of the other garbage that is in cat food then go for it.

Personally I wouldn't even feed a cat commercial cat food.

Yuck *lol* I've tasted cat food and dog food once, its so grainey and just plain ick! Anyways in addition to having parts of animals not fit for human consumption, recent studies have shown that animals are becoming more resistant to the drugs used when euthanizing (sp?) them because in a lot of brands of cat/dog food there were traces of cats/dogs that had been euthanized

therefore they develop immunity.

I'm not sure wheter this has been regulated now but jsut keep in mind that there may be dead kitty in your cat food *lol*

Hmm, I wouldnt think they would put diseased stuff in it, but okay.

I guess I will go to the store. haha..
