This may seem like a silly question, but I'm just curious. When your stomach starts to hurt and grumble, is this because your body has burned off all of the food you have previously consumed?
Hello, Yep...It's saying "Feed me." It's suposed to be ok to be hungry according to Oprah, but it's not ok according to my mother-in-law. (She's a Chinese doctor.) She claims you can actually do some damage if you let your tummy get too many hunger pains, so we just grab something small to eat to stop the hunger pains unless it's dinner time. Small things like a cracker or 2, 5-6 mini-pretzels, a piece of fresh fruit, a few nuts, etc.

Hey Magpiezoe! i was wondering the same thing. My stomach grumbles on occasion as well. Most of the time i grab something to eat although at other times, i am not hungry at all. It seems as though my stomach is telling me to eat but i can't. What is this? Is this saying that all the fat is burned? Thanks!

Hello, Well...According to Oprah Winfrey, your body is burning fat when you have hunger pains or grumbles. She said she ignores it for 5-10 min. and if it goes away, she doesn't do anything. I always eat at least a little something when I get hunger pains, but I don't when my stomach is rumbling and there are no hunger pains. From my understanding...The rumbling is really your digestive system at work. It's the sound of your stomach muscles mixing the gastric juices around to break down food, so you can still have a rumbling tummy after you've eaten. Sometimes the rumbling can start with just the thought of food, because you start salavating. I don't worry about the rumbling. I just don't like the hunger pains, so I give mine something to work on when my tummy's empty.
my stomach seems to grumble at the worst times...loud grumbles too...like when im in class and it's quite and then all you hear is "rumbling noise"
I don't get it either cause it happens like an hour or two after I've eaten...

actually for me, my stomach grumbles just after i've eaten (especially when i'm full) and the food displaces the air in my stomach...then i feel like i need to go..
and yeah..it seems to happen at the wrong times!! when i'm alone at home it doesn't happen but when i'm in class doing a test or something like that the whole room hears!!
