okay im asking for some advice on how to eat w/ ibs-d.... i mean i know all of the stuff they "say to eat"... but what i'm wondering is stuff that has helped different people, as well as some vitamins and stuff that helped you along the way.. and/or target the stomach area.... .... i just recently decided i would try to stay away from lactose product, and stuff like that.. and will venture to a nutritionist as soon as i can get an appointment...... but any help/suggestions would be comforting until i can get further help.... thanks
Three things I can recommend:
Daily Kefir (to establish a healthy colon flora)...I know it's dairy, but all the lactose is gone!
Psyllium daily (to keep colon filled and less crampy)
Beans [don't faint!] (like psyllium, to provide a large steady supply of soluble gelationous fiber)
