hey everyone,
this morning i experimented and made soem pancakes..i remember reading about a recipe, but here's what i did...they tasted pretty good and i probably will try them again next time..i'm trying to lose 20 lbs and mostly gain lean muscle in the next 3 months..i was wondering if it was okay to eat these about 2-3 times a week for breakfast...are these allowed on the south beach diet? any other breakfast ideas? thanks
1/3 cp of old fashioned oatmeal
1/2 cp low fat cottage cheese
4 egg whites
2 packets of splenda
mixed everything up together and then put in blender to smooth out for a couple minutes... then just cooked in skillet just like regular pancakes...it makes 2-3 pretty large sized pancakes...for topping i used either a tbsp coolwhip light or tbsp of natural peanut butter
