Mineral water vs. regular water

Is there any advantage to drinking mineral water instead of regular water? Are there alot of nutrients in the mineral water? and will mineral water hydrate your body as good as regular water?

Mineral water contains calcium, so if you arent much of a milk drinker, then a 32 oz bottle of mineral water is equivalent to the amount of calcium you should have each day. My brother drinks a bottle of Gerolsteiner mineral water everyday, and now he gets a discount on em!

Your brother chose well with Gerolsteiner--it is much higher im minerals than most mineral or bottled waters sold in the US (in other countries high mineal content water is more common). BUT, even Gerolsteiner has only about one third to one fourth as much calcium per liter as does milk. So the water is good, but not sufficient as a source of calcium. Better add some cheese or yogurt to the diet as well.
