I have seen articles and clips recently taht say that eating excess sugar turns into fat. Is this true?? Should i cut back on sugary foods (obviously i should keep it at a minimum, but what effect -other than lack of nutrients, which i get in diff ways- does having a lot of sugar in my diet have on my body/weight?)
Excess ANYTHING, protein, carb or fat, will store as fat.
The body has the capacity to store about 2000 calories as glycogen (hydrated glucose) ONCE... highly trained athletes can store more, but after that everything MUST be turned to fat.

Nice Name!!!
Be sure to realize that refined grains and most processed foods are just like eating sugar. Those foods cause an insulin spike like sugar does. Having excess sugar could lead to type II diabetes and various other diseases. Eating huge amounts of sugar can have very negaive health consequences. So BEWARE!!!!
