I responded in the other thread, but I'll post it here too. Measure out your water at the beginning of your day so you can always see how much you need to get through. Then it is your goal to finish it all. Also, keep small water bottles with you everywhere and sip it slowly all day. You don't need to chug big servings to get the benefit and its much easier to get through it slowly, a sip at a time.
Drink water at room temp - it goes down much easier and tastes better (if filtered). Tap water often tastes awful at room temp, so I don't recommend that
I do recommend water straight-up - without chemicals, sugar, or sugar substitutes added. If you hate the taste, you may have bad water - I invested in a reverse osmosis filtration system (the most thorough method of filtration) and now my water tastes GREAT! If you can't do that, get a Britta or buy filtered water at the store. I prefer filtered water to spring water - spring water always tastes bitter to me.
