Here is some basic dosage information for flaxseed and/or flaxseed oil. You can see that 1 tbsp of oil will provide maximum benefit for most conditions. It is recommended to take the oik with food for best absorption. Also, you must keep the oil refridgerated - it spoils VERY easily (noted by a strong foul odor) 1 tablespoon oil

Constipation 1 tbsp. ground flaxseeds, mixed into large glass of water
