low cal foods

What are some good foods to eat that are very low in calories.... any prepacked meals out there as well that you know of that are low? I'm going to the grocery store in a few minutes, because rather than avoid eating like i have been doing, I think i should actually get some food, but I want low calorie meals

snowwhite,

The LeanCuisine line by Stouffer's is a good combination of fine taste and low calories...probably the best tasting of the bunch.

For separate items, spend your time in the produce aisle (broccoli, brussels sprouts, cauliflower, spaghetti squash, rutabaga.)

Well, you've probably already gone to the grocery store, haha, but...I agree with zip2play, Lean Cuisine is a good choice for low calorie prepacked foods. As well, Healthy Choice falls along the same line as Lean Cuisine. If you are looking for snacks, I've noticed that Quakers granola bars, rice cakes (actually quite tasty), and fruit snacks are all fairly low calorie and low-fat. I've found the best foods to snack on are fruits, though. Good luck with your food search!
